Transition in management at GKW Consult

After a long career of almost 40 years, Dr. Christoph Theune retires on 31st of March 2024. Throughout his professional life as an engineer he shouldered responsibility for large scale infrastructure projects in difficult environments, took on leadership roles in several organizational settings and succeeded in establishing long lasting relationships in our sector of international cooperation. We thank Dr. Theune for his dedication to GKW Consult, which is today a highly reputed name in our sector. During the last 12 month, Dr. Theune managed together with Patrick Kaminsky the successful integration of GKW Consult into the GFA Group. GKW Consult GmbH (GKW) and its local consortium partner Agua Energía y Minería (AEM) (former Lahmeyer Agua y Energía) were awarded with the consulting services for study of alternatives, preparation of the final study and technical dossier, review of profile feasibility, elaboration of tender documents, advisory services during tendering phase, construction supervision of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) “La Atarjea” and advisory services during Defects Notification Period (DNP) by the Peruvian state-owned water utility SEDAPAL (Servicio de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado de Lima).more
