Dr Ralf Bufler invited as speaker for the IWA conference in Amman, Jordan

Over 1000 leading water professionals from around the world and thought leaders from within and outside the water sector joined the IWA Water and Development Congress & Exhibition 2015, which took place from 18 to 22 October in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The congress focused on water and development in emerging and developing economies, concentrating on the opportunities to find solutions to the major water challenges.

Together with international experts Dr Ralf Bufler was invited to participate in a panel discussion on the approaches being used by utilities for effective groundwater management to sustain water supply.

The workshop focused on the integration of sustainable groundwater management into urban infrastructure development and the strategies needed to resolve scarcity and quality constraints.
