Two new projects in Turkey
In joint venture with Hidro Dizayn based in Ankara, Turkey, Tractebel GKW (now GKW Consult) has signed two contracts for consultancy services for the preparation of integrated urban water management plans for the cities of Mugla (12,890 km²) and Mardin (8,891 km²), with a population of close to one million inhabitants each.more
New Water Supply Project in Palestine, Westbank
The Palestinian Water Authority (PWA) has awarded Tractebel GKW GmbH (now GKW Consult) and its local consortium partner CEP with a consulting service contract for the “Connection Points Ramallah and Jenin Water Supply Project” to help overcome the deficit in water supply.more
New Wastewater Project in Turkey
Tractebel GKW (now GKW Consult) and its local consortium partners KVM Mühendislik Müşavirlik and Temelsu have been awarded by the European Union with a Contract for the consultancy services of „Technical Assistance and Supervision for Bismil Wastewater Project“, which is a part of the project aiming to increase the overall compliance of Turkey with the EU strategies and policies related to water management.more
“Kahramaa enters Guinness Book of Records for largest drinking water storage tank in the world”
The Peninsula, Qatar’s Daily Newspaper, reported on its website that the Water Security Mega Reservoirs Project has achieved a new world record by entering the Guinness Book of Records for Largest Drinking Water Storage Tank. more
