Dr Ralf Bufler as moderator within the 6th Arab-German Energy Forum in Berlin

The 6th Arab-German Energy Forum, held from 25 to 26 November in Berlin, presented a great opportunity to expand networks between Arab and German business partners. More than 300 participants from politics, business and science attended at the conference. Renowned experts of industry, politics and science discussed current trends and potential cooperation possibilities on Smart Grids, Water and Energy Nexus, Frameworks and Financing, Energy Transition Dialogue, Knowledge Transfer, Energy Security, Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency.

Dr. Ralf Bufler, moderator of Session 2, discussed Status and Developments of the Water and Energy Nexus with Ms Ekaterina Kremleva (Aramco Overseas Company B.V.), Uwe Werner (WILO SE, Germany), Dr.-Eng. Dirk Wittenberg (Remondis Aqua International GmbH, Germany), and Dr. Joachim Krüger (Solarlite CSP Technology GmbH, Germany).

The forum was held under the patronage of the German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, H.E. Sigmar Gabriel.
