Industrial Water Management – optimistic outlook

"We are optimistic about 2020 and are looking forward to the upcoming challenges" (Dr. Thomas Jäger, Head of the Industrial Water Management Department)

The department, established in 2018, maintains a strong position within the German industrial water market, with focus on consulting, engineering and EPC projects. The scope of works extends across different industrial sectors (e.g. food & beverages, chemicals, cement, datacentres) offering all kind of services in water and wastewater treatment, process water reuse, and sludge treatment.

The project experience covers full design and delivery of a membrane bioreactor plant for process water treatment in a malting plant, the plant design for reject treatment in the cement industry, design and consulting services for the treatment of cooling water for computer centers, and a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) project for a special chemicals manufacturer.

In addition to the current activities in Germany, our industrial water experts also support Tractebel GKW (now GKW Consult) project activities in Latin America and Maghreb. A close and trustful cooperation with ENGIE Impact, a sustainability & energy management company, and especially RED Engineering, a global company of specialist building services and ICT engineers, are additional positive aspects.
