The National Sewerage Organization (ONAS) intends to realize a program aiming at the rehabilitation and extension of existing sewer systems and the construction of wastewater treatment plants for the treatment of industrial waste water collected within the zones of Ben Arous, Moknine, Oued el Bey, Sfax and Utique.
ONAS has awarded GKW Consult and its local partner STUDI International with a contract covering assistance during planning, tender and construction phases for several industrial and domestic wastewater treatment plants and sewer systems. The plants include chemical and biological treatment as well the required pre-treatment on-site depending on the type of the industries.
The services are scheduled to be completed by 2023.
