Qianjiang Sewage Treatment and Sewage Collection Pipe Network project in China signed

In September 2014, Lahmeyer GKW Consult was contracted by Qianjiang City Construction Investment and Development Company, Hubei Province, China, for consultancy services for Qianjiang Sewage Treatment and Sewage Collection Pipe Network Project.

The project scope consists of construction of one sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 60,000 m³/d, two intermediate pumping stations and the corresponding sewerage network of 52 km. Out of the total project investment costs of approx. 30 million EUR, the German KfW Development Bank will co-finance the project with 18.5 million EUR from promotional loans.

The consultancy services mainly deal with project coordination and monitoring, review of process design and tender documents to assure equipment to be procured with high energy efficiency and superior quality, assistance in tendering, contract management and change orders during the project implementation phase.
