These consulting services are being financed by German Development Bank (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau, KfW). The WWTP “La Atarjea” is part of the project "Cajamarquilla, Nievería and Cerro Camote Scheme - Expansion of the drinking water and sewerage systems of seven sectors in the district of Lurigancho and San Antonio de Huarochiri" and will be located in El Agustino district, province and region of Lima, Peru. The overall project objective is environmental protection as well as adaption to climate change in the Miluo River Basin. It shall also improve the urban and rural living conditions and be an essential part for the sustainable development of Pingjiang County.
