Colombia, Wastewater Treatment Plant Bello-Medellín

The contract covers overall assistance to the project owner during the tender and construction phases of a wastewater treatment plant in Medellín.

The plant provides biological treatment by activated sludge and fine bubble aeration, sludge digestion and energy recovery, odor control, as well as the complete complementary infrastructure. It can be considered to be one of the most efficient and modern treatment plants in Latin America, with comparable standard to Western Europe.

Services provided include complementary studies, adjustments to the tender documents, support during the tender phase and contract award of the construction works to a general contractor.

The construction will include the complete turn-key execution of the civil works and electro-mechanical installations, as well as the commissioning of the plant.
