India, Jammu and Kashmir Urban Sector Development Investment Programme

The mission was to provide design, design review and construction supervision works undertaken under the Asian Development Bank (ADB) loan for Srinagar city, located in the North East of India.

The main components included rehabilitation, strengthening and expansion of water supply networks and new systems, as well as design and construction supervision of new storm water drainage systems. The solid waste management part comprised treatment, flyovers, and mechanized parking, as well as social, environmental and resettlement reforms.

  • Surveys, investigations and studies
  • Preparation of sub-project appraisal reports
  • Feasibility analysis, detailed design, estimation and tender documents as per ADB standards
  • Review contractor's design and construction supervision
  • Environmental assessment and social safeguards
  • Support J&K ERA in overall program management, implementation and monitoring as per ADB norms
  • Establishment of investment program performance monitoring system and all other internal systems (including disbursement, budgeting etc.)
