Five renowned experts - Claus Mertes (Deutsche Meerwasser Entsalzung GmbH, Germany) - Dr. Noreddine Ghaffour (Water Desalination and Reuse Center KAUST, Saudi Arabia) - Jean-Marc Vesselle (Liquid Purification Technologies, Lanxess Deutschland GmbH, Germany) - Dr. Mohammed Darwish (Qatar Environment and Energy Institute, Qatar) - Uwe Werner (WILO SE, Germany) discussed latest issues on desalination as a multiple challenge.
The Forum, which took place in Berlin, Germany, from November 13 to 14, presented great opportunities to expand networks between Arab and German business partners. More than 400 experts from politics, business and sciences discussed current trends and potential cooperation possibilities on electricity, water and power, frameworks and financing, energy efficiency, education and know-how transfer as well as energy mix and renewable energies.
